About Suzi Alderete

Suzi Alderete is a leader in the use of Myofascial stretching to provide relief from acute and/or chronic injuries that arise from athletic activity as well as enhance performance through increased range of motion.

While her academic credentials—an exercise science degree from the Northern Arizona University—provide a strong foundation for her practice, her hands-on experience in working with elite athletes has been just as valuable.

Alderete, for example, spent her early years at an Arizona-based facility called Stretch to Win, where she worked with professional and amateur athletes. Since moving to Austin, she has worked with countless competitive cyclists and runners, who have come to appreciate her talent (link to testimonials).

She continues to stay atop of her field, participating in multiple workshops taught by Thomas Meyers, author of The Anatomy Trains.

More recently, the award-winning fitness columnist for the Austin American-Statesman, Pamela LeBlanc, profiled Alderete in an extensive feature.
